ATLANTA (March 17, 2010) - The fourth Prodigy poll of the 2010 MCLA season was released earlier today. And the same two teams remain at the top of the rankings.

The two-time defending MCLA champion Michigan Wolverines remain undefeated after defeating No. 22 Simon Fraser 22-10 and unranked Eastern Michigan 19-2 last weekend. UM will battle No. 7 Oregon in Dallas this Saturday evening at the Patriot’s Cup.

Undefeated Chapman (8-0) remains in the second spot. The Panthers knocked off No. 12 Texas 12-5 on Monday night and will battle NCAA Division 3 Ithaca College on Thursday.

No. 3 Colorado State moves up one spot in the rankings after beating No. 4 Arizona State and No. 16 Arizona on the road. ASU and BYU round out the top 5 in the MCLA Division 1 rankings.

Over in Division 2, St. Thomas (1-0) retains the top slot. UST takes on Oakland University this Saturday.

Dayton moves up two slots to the No. 2 position. The Flyers beat No. 3 Davenport 13-12 and No. 8 St. John’s 14-8 last weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

No. 3 Davenport, No. 4 Westminster, and No. 5 Grove City College round out the top five in the latest MCLA Division 2 rankings.

Entering its 12th year of existence, the Prodigy MCLA Top 25 polls will once again serve as the preeminent ranking system for the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA).
