The University of Wisconsin Head Coach George Counes recently announced the team-voted captains for the 2010 season. Marcus Holzer, Mike O’toole, Dean Pohlman, and Zach Nichols will lead the Badgers this Spring.

Holzer is a Senior midfielder from Champlin, Minnesota. He also serves as the team’s president. Mike O’toole is a Junior defenseman from Edina, Minnesota who will likely see time at LSM as well.

Pohlman is a sophomore attackman from Shaker Heights, Ohio. Nichols is a sophomore attackman/midfielder from Delafield, WI. Nichols formerly played Division 1 Lacrosse at the University of Detroit-Mercy.

The Badgers are already several weeks into their pre-season workouts and practices. UW will open against Western Michigan on February 20th
