Outlaws Team With Mammouth for Memorial Tournament

clc_webtileThe Denver Outlaws and Colorado Mammoth have announced that they will work together for the first time in the teams’ histories this September. The partnership involves the planning and execution of the Colin L. Cassidy Memorial Lacrosse Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, September 12 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Colin Cassidy drowned in Vail, CO on June 28 while attending the Vail Shootout.

“The Denver Outlaws are proud to be a part of the Colin L. Cassidy Memorial Lacrosse Tournament, honoring Colin’s memory,” said Outlaws President Mac Freeman. “We encourage everyone inside and outside of our lacrosse family to help support the Cassidy’s by participating in the event.”

The tournament is open to the public and free to attend. Highlights of the event include Outlaws and Mammoth player clinics, a police versus firefighters’ game, and dance instruction from the Outlaws dance team.

“This tournament is about bringing the entire Colorado lacrosse community together to support the Cassidy family,” said Mammoth President and General Manager Steve Govett. “We’re excited to be working with the Outlaws to achieve this mission.”
