The USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game, the premier collegiate all-star event, will be divided into two games for the third consecutive year. The Division III game will take place at 2:00 PM. on May 23, followed by the Division I/II game at 4:00 PM. The Cannons will take on Rochester later that evening at 7:00 PM. The three events combined will kick-off the Memorial Day Weekend collegiate championship tournament held at nearby Gillette Stadium.

“The North/South games are important events, and I am excited that the Cannons and Harvard have the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful tradition,” said MLL Commissioner, David Gross. “I look forward to much more cooperation between Major League Lacrosse and USILA in the years to come.”

Holding the Senior All-Star games on a MLL stage will also allow some of the nation’s most talented players the chance to showcase their skills in preparation for the 2008 MLL Collegiate Draft.

“We are excited that the seniors selected to play in the North/South Games will have a prestigious setting in which to finish their college careers,” said USILA President and Notre Dame Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan. “And with the MLL draft the following Wednesday, it will give the kids one last chance to impress the pro coaches and general managers.”
